You are a poor human that has been dumped in a dark maze with a mean powerful Minotaur.
Your goal (if you want to live) is to use the arrow keys to move from the Top Left corner of the maze to the Bottom Right corner of the maze where the exit is.
If you run into the Minotaur, he will ET you. (Just so that you know...This is a BAD thing.)
The Minotaur has good ears and he hears you walking and he always tries to move towards you.
You will get 10 points for every game you win.
You will lose 5 points for every game you lose.
If you map the entire maze on your journey, you will get a 40 point bonus.
Quitters and Cheaters never prosper.
If you move and bump the wall... The Minotaur will still hear you and move towards you!
If you don't want to see the entire maze after you win, click the "Don't Display Maze on Winning" button. Then you will move straight to the next game.
The History of
Minotaur
Minotaur was originally written on a VAX computer at the University of Washington by Mark Renton with consultation by John Schlick.
Later, John rewrote the game to run on the PC (DOS) platform, and it was placed on several early games repositories online.
Now, John has brought Minotaur to the world of JavaScript so that it can be on this website for your enjoyment, so that you too can join the ranks of people that have been ET by a Minotaur.
